Wine and Service
The wine list is simple (includes wines by the glass) and has reasonable prices. The success of the restaurant is also due to its excellent service.
The best time to go
Normally full at the weekend (you will need to reserve a table), if you don’t like crowds then you can try lunch or dinner any week day.
A good selection of products and reasonable prices mean that this restaurant in Costa Teguise is normally full (we recommend that you reserve a table).A long comfortable room that is well lit and has wooden furnishings welcomes the clients. The main dining area however is even more charming with large wooden tables and tall stools.
The menu at La Bohemia is constantly being renewed. Nicolás and his team periodically present their new dishes and their experimental side is clearly reflected in the variety of starters on offer. You can wet your appetite with squid, some filling croquettes or the excellent goat cheese puff pastry with mushrooms, ham and peppers.
Moving on to the main course, there are excellent grilled meats normally prepared medium rare. Ribs, Iberian pork fillet or feather loin: chistorra (spicy sausage from the Basque Country), grilled chorizo from Asturias, onion black pudding: Uruguayan fillet steak or rib eye.
The hamburgers however are ‘cebon’ ,top quality ox meat which is no older than 48 months and are a recent addition to the menu, they are tender and very tasty and a big hit with diners. You could say that the hamburger (9 euros) is the restaurants star dish.
Desserts, drinks and good conversation
The wine list is simple but has good quality wines for reasonable prices. The desserts are surprisingly good. We recommend that you try the flan and the pancakes with caramel. The cocktail list is ambitious: a leisurely after dinner drink to make the most of the pleasant conversation will cost you 6 euros for a gin and tonic with Hendricks gin and good tonic water.
