El Bocadito is a lively restaurant. The fast service in the restaurant makes it into an ideal place to stop by for an aperitif whilst enjoying the pleasant ambience.
El Bocadito has become one of the most reliable places to eat in Costa Teguise. They offer typical Spanish dishes, a varied assortment of ‘tapas and pinchos’ that can be complimented with more elaborate dishes. The restaurant has a large comfortable dining area and an open air terrace. El Bocadito, due to its layout and the dishes on offer, is an excellent meeting point for an aperitif, a lunch with friends or a more intimate evening dinner.
The culinary experience could begin with sampling the tasty meatballs, the ‘pinxto de Marta’ (potato omelette with bread and tomato), some delicious snails that have just the right amount of spicy, or the famous cod and roasted pepper salad. The portion of ‘cazón’ (dogfish) or the thin slices of octopus with an alioli crust served on a bed of potatoes, are also dishes worthy of mentioning.
More than just tapas
El Bocadito is more than just a tapas bar. The kitchen also offers more substantial restaurant like dishes. Entrecote, T-bone steak, lean pork fillet, or fresh fish from Lanzarote. During the last visit to El Bocadito our table made the right choice with a curious sole tempura and slices of battered cod, and also a safe choice with the exquisite black rice with a wedge of caramelized cod.
